Recently I decided to sign up for Stitch Fix (again) because I used to get it a couple years ago. I was really excited to get my first box because I am totally ready for fall and am looking for some unique pieces to add to my already full closet.
The great part about Stitch Fix is that you can customize what you want to receive and what price range you would like the items to be within. So personally I did not want to receive accessories, purses or shoes- just clothes! I love opening the box and trying everything on right away! They also make it super easy to return the items that don't work for you. You just put them into a shipping bag that is already addressed and paid for and you just drop it in the mail. If you don't want anything out of the box at all, you pay a $20 styling fee, but if you buy at least one item that $20 just gets credited to that piece.
WHAT WAS IN THE STITCH FIX BOX?!
The full list of items I received is below!
- Laila Jayde Layola Cowl Neck Knit Pullover, charcoal grey/black
- Skies are Blue Dark Medea Cut Out Sleeve Cotton Pullover Sweater, dark purple
- Emory Park Josiah Off the Shoulder Pullover, off white
- Edyson Maisha Ponte and Faux Leather Jacket, black
- Pistola Audrey Moto Detail Skinny Pant, olive
While I liked a lot of the pieces, I only kept the one in the image below. It is super soft and not too heavy, so I know I will get a lot of use out of it.
Here is my feedback on the other pieces:
- Skies are Blue Dark Medea Cut Out Sleeve Cotton Pullover Sweater, dark purple
- I liked the look of this sweater and the detail on the sleeve, but it wasn't the softest so I don't think I would end up wearing it very often.
- Emory Park Josiah Off the Shoulder Pullover, off white
- I'm not sure why this sweater is called "off the shoulder", I definitely thought it was more of a loose turtleneck? I like the color, because I think blondes look great in white and off white, but again it wasn't terribly soft and seemed like it might get ruined in the wash and I am not very careful when it comes to delicate fabrics!
- Edyson Maisha Ponte and Faux Leather Jacket, black
- have a few leather jackets and I don't need another one, but is a nice layering piece.
- Pistola Audrey Moto Detail Skinny Pant, olive
- like moto pants, but I did not like the fit of these. They were too short on me, a bit big in the waist and a bit tight in the hips. Overall, they just didn't work for my body shape.
I am super excited to get back into the Stitch Fix habit! They have added a lot of great features since the last time I had it, like expanded sizes, men's products, Luxe brands and more! So check it out! Here are some tips provided by Stitch Fix to get your very best fix!
