HOW DID YOU COME TO THE KETO WAY OF EATING?
My best friend and her mom were fond of the Atkins diet and had mentioned it to me, from there I further researched a low carb way of eating. In doing my research, I came across the Keto way of eating.
WHAT KIND OF RESULTS HAVE YOU GOTTEN FROM EATING KETO?
I have lost 85 lbs from eating Keto
HAVE YOU HAD ANY SETBACKS OR CHALLENGES IN YOUR KETO JOURNEY?
For the first year, I was very strict and consistent. In the years since, I have found that the times I find it challenging to stay on track is special occasions, dating, meeting up with friends (especially when out of town), and in restaurants that don’t offer keto options.

- Meal prep
- Get rid of non-keto foods from the house
- Stick to the basics

- Filet mignon and green vegetables

- Eggs and ham

EXERCISE! DO YOU DO IT?!
DO YOU EXERCISE IN ADDITION TO YOUR KETO WOE? IF SO WHAT IS YOUR WORKOUT PLAN AND WHAT HAVE YOU FOUND TO BE MOST SUCCESSFUL?
I like to switch up my exercise routine from time to time. I usually lift every day that I workout and switch the muscle group that I’m working out and after I lift I do some kind of cardio such as the stairmaster or treadmill/elliptical. I also got into running and doing races. I find lifting and strength training to be really important as part of an exercise plan.
DO YOU TAKE ANY SUPPLEMENTS, IF SO WHICH ONES?
I don’t take them everyday but on occasion I take dietary fiber pills, potassium, and a multivitamin.
