The Benefits of Ginger

I am loving all things ginger right now!

Ginger has the amazing ability to warm you up from the inside out. It has amazing benefits for when you are feeling under the weather or just a little off.

Benefits of Ginger

  • Digestion. The phenolic compounds in ginger are known to help relieve gastrointestinal (GI) irritation, stimulate saliva and bile production, and suppress gastric contractions as food and fluids move through the GI tract. ...

  • Nausea. ...

  • Cold and flu relief. ...

  • Pain reduction. ...

  • Inflammation. ...

  • Cardiovascular health. ...

It doesn’t really matter how you eat ginger if you’re feeling sick. You can even get it in cookie form. Nui Cookies has a delicious Ginger Something Cookie that’s not quite a ginger snap or a ginger bread but has all of the warmth and spice of my favorite ginger recipes.

Want to change it up a bit? Try this Amazing Biscookie recipe from the folks over at Nui! It’s a biscotti, it’s a cookie, it’s a biscookie!
