KETO RECIPE: Jalapeño Poppers and Onion Rings
It's Super Bowl Sunday so my daughter and I are staying at home and of course cooking up some game treats! Cream cheese jalapeño poppers have become a favorite appetizer of mine, I make them for most parties because almost everyone loves them plus they are SUPER easy. Then Keto Onion rings are something I've never made before, but my daughter loves onion rings and she loves bacon, so I figured she would love these too!
Jalapeño Popper Ingredients
Jalapenos (try to pick bigger ones)
Cream cheese
Bacon
Toothpicks (not really an ingredient, but you will need them!)
DIRECTIONS
Cut jalapenos in half and remove core and seeds
I use a block of cream cheese and cut a thin slice and press it into the jalapeno
Cut strips of bacon in half, half a piece of bacon per popper. The bacon kind of stretches so unless your jalapeno is giant it should work!
Use toothpicks to keep bacon in place, otherwise it'll curl up and won't stay on the jalapeno right.
Bake at 400 degrees until bacon is crispy!
KETO ONION RING INGREDIENTS
Jalapeno Poppers are easy, but these are even easier!
1 onion, I used purple since it is what I had
Bacon
DIRECTIONS
Cut onion in round slices, you will use the larger outside rings
Wrap 1 piece of bacon around each ring and adhere ends with toothpicks
Bake at 400 degrees until bacon is crispy!
