CASA PUESTA DEL SOL: LIVING & DINING ROOM
So I promised you guys I would share throughout the process of getting my new house (aka Casa Puesta Del Sol) ready to get up on Airbnb! So today I wanted to share my plans for the main area of the house or I guess you could call it The Great Room. Right when you walk into the front door you walk into the living room, kitchen, dining room and what I’m calling the nook.
Right now I have the calendar open for December 2019 and part of January 2020. The first few stays get 20% off! So if you need a place to stay during the holidays, feel free to book!
LIVING ROOM
There is another room in the house that will be the big TV room, so I decided to make the space off the kitchen into a pool table room! I found this pool table in grey tones on Wayfair and I thought it was perfect because I didn’t want anything with bright green felt or any bright colors. This one is also cool because it has 2 benches that come with it that store all of the pool cues and whatnot! I will also have a small loveseat in the space, it’s from Living Spaces and I will have a matching big sectional in the TV room. Next to it is a cool chair from West Elm that matches the stools I will have at the kitchen island. A fun, colorful rug and some cool end tables will also be in the space.

10/28 update! everything is in the Living Room! It was super exciting to see the pool table come together!
DINING ROOM
The Dining Room is just to the right of the front door, you can see in the photo the light fixture that was already in the house. I’m not 100% sure if I’m going to keep it or not, but for now I’m going to leave it and see how it looks with the furniture. I love bronze and copper details, so this glass table and grey chairs from CB2 spoke to me. I also really loved the peanut butter colored leather on the West Elm stools to add some warmth. The big green glass vases are from Target (Chip and Jojo’s line).
I’m a huge art lover, so the first thing I did in every room was pick the art I wanted. I got most of it from Society 6 and Etsy. I wanted a vibe that captured the desert vibe, but since I’m also a beach girl I wanted that to come across as well.

THE NOOK
The Nook is meant to be for a small breakfast table, but I didn’t need any other places for people to eat, so I wanted an excuse to use these amazing egg chairs from Target! I have one in my house in CA and I’m obsessed, so I’m putting 2 in the nook! I also got fun poof ottomans and pillows from Target. Then I’m going to layer a bunch of plants behind for a pop of green.

10/28 update! The nook is done! So many glasses of wine and cups of coffee will be sipped in these comfy chairs!
Just off the nook is a little bar set up, cocktail time anyone?!
