KETO RECIPE: Chocolate Strawberry Bark
I had an urge for some dark chocolate, but I wanted to do something interesting with it. ChocZero’s chocolate products melt so well and make it super easy to create really easy no bake desserts like this one! I love making bark because there are literally endless ways to customize it, so feel free to get creative and use whatever you have on hand!
INGREDIENTS
1 bag of ChocZero baking chips, I used Dark Chocolate here but they also come in Milk, White and Peanut Butter!
2 tablespoons of salted almonds, chopped (you could also use macadamia nuts)
⅓ cup of freeze dried or fresh sliced strawberries
¼ cup of ChocZero Baking Chips in contrasting color for drizzle
1 pre-made keto-friendly cookie, crumbled (optional)
DIRECTIONS
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Add the 7oz bag of baking chips into a microwave safe bowl
Heat for 30 seconds at 50% power, stir, heat at 15 second intervals at 50% power until melted
Pour chocolate onto the parchment paper and spread it in a thin, uniform layer
Sprinkle on the nuts, strawberry slices and cookie crumble (optional)
Microwave the contrasting chocolate in a microwave safe container for 15 seconds at 50% power, stir, repeat until melted. To drizzle you can either use a spoon to distribute it on the bark or put melted chocolate in a small sandwich bag, snip the corner and use it as a piping bag.
Refrigerate or freeze until hardened, about 4 hours in the fridge and 2 hours in the freezer.
Break into smaller pieces and store in a sealed container.
Once it was nice and hard I broke it up into smaller pieces to nibble on, YUM!
