Choc Zero has Keto Chocolate Chips and My Recipe is on the Back of the Bag!

Something truly awesome happened this week! Choc Zero, my go to Keto Chocolate Brand, came out with a line of Keto Friendly No Sugar Chocolate Chips.

They now sell sugar free, delicious Baking chips in Dark, Milk and White Chocolate!

But that's not all. My recipe for Keto Chocolate Chip Cookies is the recipe on the back of the Dark Chocolate Chips!!!

I reminds me of that episode of Friends where they are trying to remember Phoebe's grandma's famous cookie recipe and it ends up being the one on the Nestle bag. So Fun!! I couldn’t be more excited!

Grab the Dark Chocolate Chips and Follow my Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie Recipe for your next sweet treat!

Choc Zero’s new Baking Chips are made with the same amazing Keto Chocolate as their Keto Bark. It has only 1 g of net carbs and is sweetened with Monk Fruit. It has no sugar alcohols, or soy.

The Dark Chocolate Flavor is Dairy Free. The Milk Chocolate uses creamy whole milk to give you a smooth and creamy texture. All of the flavors can be melted down and drizzled over berries or into Keto Candy Molds. But you can always just eat the Chocolate Chips by the handful!

Choc Zero makes small batches to ensure that every product you get is up to their extremely high standards. However, this means that they sell out quickly. Right now, Choc Zero is sold out of the White Chocolate Chips, but there are still a small number Dark and Milk Chocolate Bags to order.

Choc Zero Does restock every Friday at 5pm! So if you see a product that is already sold out, Check back then and snag them up as soon as they are available.

In addition to amazing Chocolate Chips, Choc Zero has also added a new Keto Bark to their long list of incredible treats! Keto Bark with PECANS!

Keto Sweeteners: How and When to use them!

Let’s be honest! We all love sweets!!!

It’s a common misconception that if you go Keto, you can never have sweets again. That’s not true. You can enjoy baked goods, ice cream, cookies, etc without the carbs. When going Keto, it is important to explore and research all of the different types of non-sugar sweeteners. Because living without sweets would be awful!

There are three particular non-sugar sweeteners that I use all of the time in my everyday life. (I try to avoid too many chemicals in my diet, so I steer clear of aspartame and sucralose as much as I possibly can.) I mostly stick to naturally occurring sweeteners like Stevia, Erythritol, and Monk Fruit Extract.

Monk Fruit Extract- Monk Fruit, also known as Luo Han Guo, is native to Southern China and Northern Thailand.  It is much sweeter than common sugar (about 150 times as sweet) so a little goes a long way! Monk Fruit Extract works really well in smoothies and baked goods! With some blending it incorporates really nicely! Monk fruit extract has no weird after tastes. I can’t even tell that it’s not real sugar. Some of my favorite Keto Brands use monk fruit extract to sweeten their products.

Choc Zero uses monk fruit to get to add just the right amount of sweetness to balance out their amazing Keto Chocolate. Choc Zero has so many wonderful Keto Sweets! They have dark, milk, and white chocolate squares. They sell amazing chocolate barks with Hazelnuts, Almonds, and Coconut! They are my favorite after dinner dessert. Choc Zero also has Honest Syrups. They are completely sugar free and sweetened with Monk Fruit extract and the flavors are amazing! They have everything from Maple Pecan Syrup to Banana! I love their Strawberry Syrup on Keto Strawberry Pancakes. Get 10% off all Choc Zero Products with the code KETOINTHECITY

And Nui Cookies use Monk Fruit Extract in all four of their Keto Cookie Flavors.

Stevia- Stevia is a sweetener made from the plant by the same name. It is native to Brazil and Paraguay. It has no calories and no sugar. Most days on the way to work, I swing by Starbucks for a coffee with heavy whipping cream. I then add a couple drops of liquid stevia to add a bit of sweetness. Liquid Stevia incorporates right into liquids and has no weird flavor. Perfect Keto uses stevia powder in their Keto Supplement to make them extra delicious.

Erythritol-  Erythritol is a sugar alcohol that occurs naturally in some fruit and fermented foods. It is almost non-caloric and doesn’t affect blood sugar.  I’ve found that Erythritol is the best sweetener for baking. I use it in my Fathead Cinnamon Roll Recipe and in my Chewy Chocolate Chip recipe. It bakes up just how you would expect real sugar to. It doesn’t effect the rise or bake time. Also I love that Erythritol isn’t too sweet. You don’t even notice that you aren’t eating real sugar.

I hope this guide helps you understand how to bring a little sweetness into your life without undoing all of your hard work!!

Jen

Nui is one of my favorite Keto Brands! They make KETO products not just products that you can kind of fit into your macros. That peace of mind is wonderful!

These Keto cookies are incredible. They are chewy and flavorful and just sweet enough. One sleeve (two cookies) has at the most 4g of Net Carbs.

Nui cookies come in several different flavors: Peanut Butter, Snickerdoodle, Double Chocolate, and Chocolate Chip. Every so often they come out with a seasonal flavor, but you can get these four all year long.

Nui cookies are made with almond and coconut flour, so they are naturally gluten free. They are sweetened with monk fruit extract and erythritol.

Nui cookies are delicious! My favorite flavor is Snickerdoodle. These cinnamon Snickerdoodle cookies only have 2 g net carbs in the whole sleeve and have 6g of Protein, making them an amazing and flavorful way to fight off afternoon hunger.

The folks at Nui recently shared this amazing Churro Truffle Recipe. It takes the Snickerdoodle Cookies and turns them into melt in your mouth fat bombs. These are perfect to eat after a long day!
