KETO PRODUCT REVIEW: KETTLE & FIRE BONE BROTH
I've written about my love of bone broth a few times on this blog. The first bone broth I ever tried was at The Bulletproof Coffee shop, right after I started Keto. The gut healing benefits of bone broth are enormous. Bone broth also helps joint and skin health, 2 things that are essential for me since I suffer from Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis.
Recently I discovered Kettle & Fire Bone Broth and it has now become by go-to bone broth!

ABOUT KETTLE & FIRE BONE BROTHS
- MADE IN THE USA- It all starts with organic 100% grass fed beef or chicken bones, which they are proud to source from small family farms who raise their animals following organic principles, without any added hormones and antibiotics.
- QUALITY & NATURAL INGREDIENTS- Next they combine the highest-collagen content bones (knuckle, patella, femur and feet bones) with only organic vegetables, sea salt, and herbs. This means no artificial ingredients, no preservatives and no additives.
- TRADITIONALLY SLOW-SIMMERED- Then they combine the premium ingredients with filtered water into steel kettles. The mixture is cooked for 20-24 hours at 130 degrees Fahrenheit. This provides enough time for the marrow, collagen and amino acids to soak into the broth.
- ADVANCED & RESPONSIBLE PACKAGING- They package it while it's hot in an "aseptic" vacuum environment so there are zero pathogens in the box or in the packaging area. This means no spoilage and a 2 year shelf-life! Their packaging is recyclable, sustainable, and made with natural materials.

Kettle & Fire simmers their 100% grass-fed, organic bones for 20+ hours to pull all the collagen, proteins and amino acids from the bones into their broth. The result is a bone broth that's rich, delicious, and has 19x more collagen than the closest competitor (as certified by an independent lab).
VARIETIES OF BONE BROTH
Recently, I traveled to the Dallas area to visit one of my best friends and ended up getting food poisoning at the very first restaurant we went to. Luckily, I was able to find Kettle & Fire Chicken Bone Broth at a local Whole Foods and it helped to bring me back to life.
Now I have been drinking their Mushroom Chicken flavor and it is delicious, super rich and buttery tasting, I didn't even add salt to it and it was wonderful.
On their website you can save money by signing up for a subscription or you can purchase individual cartons. They have a 2 year shelf life, so you can stock your pantries so you always have broth to sip and cook with.
If you're new to bone broth, Kettle & Fire recommends drinking 4-8oz a day, at least 3x per week to experience all the benefits. I like to sip mine while I am waiting for dinner to cook, but you can of course sip it any time of day. I heat mine up low and slow, by simmering in a pot on low until warm. If you have to use a microwave, I would recommend a low heat setting, don't blast it on high.
